"Do not let your fire go out, spark by irreplaceable spark in the hopeless swamps of the not-quite, the not-yet, and the not-at-all. Do not let the hero in your soul perish in lonely frustration for the life you deserved and have never been able to reach. The world you desire can be won. It exists.. it is real.. it is possible.. it's yours."
— Ayn Rand

Good day to you; I never know when others find these words, so saying good morning might not be the best greeting. But alas, it is morning here. It's 6:23 a.m. MT 5:23 PT Time zones are funny; this is my last day in MT, tomorrow I'll enter CT; I've been living in ET for the past few months.

In college, I was fortunate for John Hayes to refer me to Ayn Rand's book Atlas Shrugged, it's a juggernaut of a book, but it laid the foundation for my worldview. The book focuses on the impact and importance of the individual in society, how life rewards those who seek success, and highlights others who like to suck off the teet of the work done by others.

I liken today's society to what was going on in the time of Atlas; government is overreaching, trying to steal treasure from those who work hard and transfer it to those who chose a life of anger, hate, and claiming life is not fair. If you have not read the book, I suggest you do; it's long but worth reading. I've now read it three times and will reread it before passing.

I've mentioned the book before, and it upsets a few people. Their mindset is more about the collective; it takes a village, the individual is not as important as the total. I like when my friend Dave sends me a note reminding me he is a tribe of one. I think we are all tribes of one and doing our unique work and striving to create wealth and earn treasure is a feature and a benefit.

In the book, society tries to tear down the most successful people, those making life better for all, but the collective thinks it's not fair. So they use experts to steal and take away the intellectual property of those creative heroes in the book. "Experts" are used to discount the advances of men and women. Then, the government uses these experts to push the public to remove the gains and opportunities present in a free and just society.

Does this sound familiar? One of our greatest human assets these days is Joe Rogan. I just lost 50% of my audience; yes, I'm a fan, I've been a fan for many years, and I think he is a light in a world of darkness. Joe has about 9 million people listen to his long-form 3-hour interviews with scientists, comedians, MMA fighters, authors, and others. Yet, the majority of people that hate Joe Rogan have never heard one episode.

Last year he went exclusively to Spotify, earning 100 million dollars, and when the media learned he was cleaning their clock in viewers, they collectively began trying to take him down. Experts, doctors, well, some doctors, and some others that claimed to be doctors screamed that Joe be canceled, removed from the platform for wait for it, spreading "misinformation." Do you know what misinformation is? It's information that others don't like.

But misinformation today might be deemed facts in the future. As Joe points out in his "clarification statement" to the world, he made some solid points when the mainstream media began attacking him for his work. A year ago, if you questioned the vaccine said you could still get covid after getting the vaccine, you would be removed from social media. How many people do you know today who are triple vaccinated and have gotten COVID? What was misinformation a year ago is now a fact. If you said cloth masks don't work, you were called a heretic and scolded that you wanted to kill grandma. Well, folks, it's now common knowledge that cloth masks do nothing to stop the spread of the current variant; no longer are cloth masks thought of as a solution to COVID.

If you floated the idea a few months ago that the virus may have escaped from a lab in China, you were called a racist, but guess what, today the leading theory of where the virus started was in a lab in China, using gain of function research funded by our friend Tony Faccui. No wonder he was so "adam ant" that it was a natural animal to human transmission. Tony Faccui is a criminal, and I suspect in 2023, he will be put in prison for lying to Congress and the American people.

According to a new study by John Hopkins University, the lockdowns did zero to stop the spread of the virus. Of course, hindsight is 20/20, but for all of you that screamed, stay in your house, do not go out, you were wrong, and many of us that continued living a life free of fear were right. The future will not be kind to the fear-mongering politicians who set rules for we, but not for thee.

So back to Joe Rogan, he won't be silenced, he will continue having 3 to 4-hour long-form conversations, and if you can use your brain and critically think, you should listen to his show. I do not miss an episode, and I'm not alone. The mainstream media apparatus is on life support; their viewership is down 90% compared to last year. The king of CNN just resigned. There is talk of the network moving back to reporting actual news and not slandering people with a different worldview.

So when you hear the world misinformation or even disinformation, understand that there is a shred of truth in all information. One must have the sense to discern a factual reality and a narrative that those in power wish you to follow. The sheep have been sheared; the wolves are growling and ascending faster than ever before in society. The problem with humanity is you have folks like me and others that are not afraid to share out thoughts and ideas. No human is 100% correct, and if I'm wrong, I will admit my error; I wish others now, with the hindsight of a two-year pandemic, might be willing to accept the error of their ways and take back their obnoxious finger-pointing.

As a society, we got a lot wrong, but it's time to move on with our new information. So listen to Joe Rogan every day, be like Dagny, Hank, and John Galt and see if you can discern who the hero's of today might be. It's not politicians; it's not the talking heads; it's the men and women who use innovation and hard work to create products and services for the world. Point out hypocrisy when you see it and be kind to others that don't share your worldview.

"Tony Faccui is a criminal, and I suspect in 2023, he will be put in prison for lying to Congress and the American people." I pray you are right. It is going to take this kind of justice to curb the tide. Are there any politicians with the balls (metaphorically speaking) to do this?

Nice rant today Anson.
