When Something Is Important

Good morning, afternoon, evening, or whenever you find this mixture of logic, opinion, and muckraking. I’ll be your guide here for the next four minutes; sit back, and let’s enjoy this ride together.
We had a good day yesterday; we went to the Indianapolis office; we had some bank business that needed attention. We stopped by Caliper’s fish market and had a sandwich, and then I headed home to work, and my wife stayed at the office.
I got home and filled out all the paperwork for the closing of our condo. I did it online, all DocuSign and using an online notary that lived in Florida. Brandon was kind and helped me complete the task; this week, the proceeds will hit our newly created bank account. Years ago, we started a trust for both of us, and I’m sure it’s a good thing, but it does make financial transactions a little more laborious.
My wife got home, we made some tacos, watched some Netflix, and chilled. We were in bed early; according to my OURA ring, I only got eight hours and seven minutes of sleep, not quite nine hours, but I feel good. They will induce our kid; Bo Anson will hatch soon; it will be nice to meet him. Joleen the wonder will be staying with us for the next 30 days; she and Parker are friends; this will be a good month.
Well, Elon bought Twitter, which is a good thing. Free speech will slowly return, people will get their accounts back, the public square will no longer be regulated, and according to some, the wrong people will be free to spout their hate. But I think letting folks say what they want and then letting others decide how to interpret their words is wise. The virtuous should be happy that an African American owns such a large company.
Electric cars, spaceships, a boring company, flame throwers, and now the public square. I think he will buy Disney next and return the company to produce quality content for kids. People are scared, and then those of us are excited; we will see where this goes. The owner of the Washington Post, another billionaire, is concerned; he thinks China now has the upper hand with the recent change. When in doubt, scream Russia or China, and the press will do your bidding.
Gas has fallen 3 cents to $4.24 a gallon in the good news department. I bought my six-pack of Billy Beer yesterday and have my peanuts, the kids won’t get that reference, but those who lived through the Jimmy Carter era know what’s up and what is coming. Hold on, folks, things are going to get very interesting.
I got an email from a client yesterday; his company was broken into again, the second time in a few months, and crime is out of control. Is it still a good idea to defund the police, or do you think there might be a benefit in funding the boys in blue? We will replace the stolen items, and I suspect rates will be going up to cover the new reality.
That’s enough muckraking; I’ll be here tomorrow, the next day, and every day until I die. I don’t mind sharing my thoughts, ideas, and logic; some like it, others don’t; I’m here to cleanse my mind and start with a new whiteboard every day. I hope you are enjoying life, liberty, and freedom. The calvary is coming, and it will get interesting very quickly.
