"We must have public officials who will stand up and tell the people exactly what they think... Our failure in recent years has not been the failure of the people to meet the challenges placed before them but rather the failure of both our great political parties to place those challenges honestly and courageously before the people and to trust the willingness of the people to do the things that need to be done."

 — Joe Biden

Happy Saturday, you beautiful special people. How are you? How did you sleep? We got eight and ½ hours; I feel perfect—time to start our weekend. First, we got up together, which is very unusual; typically, I'm up for an hour, then my wife and animals get up, but today it was a team awakened, so everybody was doing their thing.

A good day yesterday; I had my reset/reboot leadership call at 10:00 and connected with some of the finest humans on the planet. We check in on each other; a few of us are in stressful times, and others are cruising through the universe. I'll miss next week due to my prominent men's group meeting; I have a lot of opportunities to work on being my best self.

We headed south to get a bite to eat, ran a few errands, went to my doctor, got a shot, did some other medical work in the afternoon, and headed to see Baby Bo. Cousin is in town helping our kid; we went on a long walk and then came home to chill and watch some long-form television before hitting the bed. I read a little a new thing I've been incorporating into my daily habits, 30 minutes of reading before bed, and I don't need melatonin.

Today I have some work to do this morning, and then I suspect we will go for a long walk with our pup and do some chores around the house before heading south to see Baby Bo. I've got a couple of phone calls to return to friends that called last night. When I'm with my family, I'm focused on the fam; friends can wait.

Folks, we live in a time when you can get puberty blockers for children, but you can't seem to find baby formula. We live in a time when A Wisconsin school district filed a Title IX complaint against three middle school students, accusing them of sexual harassment for using incorrect pronouns when addressing another student.

We live in a time of Ultra-Inflation, Ultra-Immigration, and Ultra-shortages of all goods. What is causing these Ultra-issues? What has happened in the last two years that would cause our society that seemed to be on a rocket ship out of the pandemic to stall and fall back to earth? I, of course, have my views, but I'm wondering if you have thought through what brought us to this point of civil unrest and concern that many can't make ends meet?

I advised on Tuesday I was buying crypto; it was at $26,000 per coin, I purchased $10,000, and as of yesterday, it peaked above $30,000. It's still a deal; I'm not an investment guy, but I use logic and critical thinking to invest; so far, so good. With the economic turmoil, I like to diversify my holdings, I don't have much in crypto, but I think it is a wise move based on our financial times.

I think we are on the cusp of a property bubble. Interest rates are rising, the average person won't be able to afford housing, the market will get saturated, and prices will begin to fall. If you have a nest egg set aside for property investment, I will guess that you might be able to get some deals in six months. If you have cash, the best play is to hold. And do not remove your money from the falling market; hold on and wait for it to bounce back, and in time it will.

The economic fluctuations affect those on a fixed income more than any other population sector. Some of us can make more money when needed and taper our efforts back when the market is on fire. I talked to an insurance professional yesterday who shared he was working with an agency owner that was not prospecting; he was not working, and he was waiting for the market to turn.

I'm a business owner that likes to grow by prospecting and bringing in new revenue. People are always looking to find a valuable and relationship-oriented company, no matter the economic conditions. If you sell shoes, cars, or vibrator parts, I don't care; an aggressive sales plan with a great sales team will separate your firm from most others. The pandemic allowed for laziness, but those who know the value of hard work never took a pause.

I encourage you to find the opportunity in today's times, and I'm going to share with you that we have been hitting some home runs, finding opportunities that I couldn't dream of before the country shuddered.

It's easy to bitch, moan, and complain, but no one wants to hear your whiney ass; get up, work hard, be wise, and have an open mind to lean into all the privileges provided by something bigger than yourself.
