The Great Reset, Voter Laws, Wallycoin, Failed Tests, China's Big Threat
"Perhaps nothing threatens the CCP more than the Constitution of the United States. China's president, Xi Jinping, has stated as much, and CCP documents that I will share make clear that fundamental American concepts—the rights of free speech and freedom of religion—are threats to the authoritarian power of the CCP, which believes that these liberties must never be allowed to take root in China and must never be the rights of Chinese citizens. Tuesday, you look fantastic, join me while I type some words, sip some coffee, and listen to my ice machine create fresh ice every 6 minutes. Sunday said Hi; I know you and Monday are having issues, so I won't share what they told me to tell you; I wish you two could get geet on the same page.
We took it easy yesterday; both of us had something, not sure, I did some Dayquil in the morning, and that seemed to help; we had our coaching meeting at noon, the rest of the day, I worked from my writing chair. I did get out to take PVHT for a walk; I think I'm on the rebound; we will see how my wife feels shortly.
In looking at my calendar, I have my board meeting this morning, then three virtual meetings that go until 7:00 p.m. I'll take it easy again and hope to be 100% by tomorrow. My brother just texted me; his wife has the VID, no significant issues, just a slight fever, and is now on the rebound. Working virtually allows one to work without spreading germs, another blessing from these past two years.
Have you heard about The Great Reset? I learned about it yesterday; it's an idea that the weaknesses of capitalism were highlighted due to the pandemic, and we need to move toward a less owner-centric model. Their tagline is "you will own nothing and be happy." President Xi gave the opening speech, then folks like Dr. Tony joined for his wish to mask until eternity.

According to the Goog: WEF chief executive officer Klaus Schwab described three core components of the Great Reset: the first involves creating conditions for a "stakeholder economy"; the second component includes building in a more "resilient, equitable, and sustainable" way—based on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) metrics which would incorporate more green public infrastructure projects; the third component is to "harness the innovations of the Fourth Industrial Revolution" for the public good.[2][3] In her keynote speech opening the dialogues, International Monetary Fund director Kristalina Georgieva listed three critical aspects of the sustainable response: green growth, smarter growth, and fairer growth.
I'm always a little suspect when I see the words "fair." Who determines what is fair? Can we not use the component of hard work to earn one's keep? If you don't want to work, you get nothing; the harder you work, you will make treasure to buy what you want. Therefore, our country gives every man, woman, and child an opportunity to maximize their earning potential. Although obviously, not all communities are created equal, it is up to us with treasure to share and help others.
I checked the news, but there is not much to report; Wal Mart is joining the Metaverse and launching a crypto coin. It might be a good idea to buy some "Wallycoin." I think money will be fragmented; there is an issue when our fed can print money willy nilly. Inflation continues to climb. Is it time to think about a great reset in how our leaders are running our country? Maybe change a few policies?
Here's an idea, let's not focus on the problem at hand; let's pivot and search for an issue that does not seem to be an issue for most Americans. What is that issue, you ask? Is it the genocide occurring to the Uyghur people? Nah, is it the continued theater to contain a disease that cannot be controlled? Nope, ah, voting rights. Inside the beltway, some are concerned with not who gets to vote but who counts the votes. Our 250-year history of state-run voting is now a foul system, and the federal Government has the solution. Their only problem is that not everyone is on the same page. As most of these administrations' actions go, nothing will happen. There is a certain beauty in our legislative process.
Personal update, I just got my second cup of Death Wish Coffee made with Liquid Death water; my second piece of Nicorette gum is in my mouth and is feeding my brain with tingles of stimulation. My wife is up; she had the sweats last night, thinks she's on the mend; I will share her sentiment. Parker Van Halen is up and will have breakfast, and she and I will get a walk-in before my 9:30 board meeting.
I'm going to get back to reading today. I've got a couple of books I'm reading; it will give me some fodder for tomorrow, like yesterday my brain is working about 60%, apologies for the blandness of the soup; I'll be back on my game tomorrow. I'm hydrating using Liquid I.V.; it helps, we use the one without sugar, and it seems to work well.
I found a story in the Washington Post about the lack of accurate results from the home test. It seems the home tests can't pick up the new variants. One young lad tested six times negative, spent the holidays with his 83-year-old Grandmother, and then got a PCR test the next day, and shockingly or maybe not shockingly, he was positive. The family was very concerned, Grandma tested negative, but the question is now, "is Grandma really negative?" Are we at a point where the tests can no longer provide us with the quality data needed to determine how to live our lives?
Strange times, The Great Reset, Voting Rights, COVID, Inaccurate Testing, I wonder what life will be like in five years. I wonder when I read this in 2027 what will be going on. Will, The Great Reset happen? Is our Government still the most powerful in the world, or do we have a new President by the name of XI? Stayed tuned, the roller coaster is on the way up.
