"The first commandment for every good explorer is that an expedition has two points: the point of departure and the point of arrival. If you intend to make the second theoretical point coincide with the actual point of arrival, don't think about the means -- because the journey is a virtual space that finishes when it finishes. There are as many means as there are different ways of 'finishing.' That is to say, the means are endless."

Happy Monday, we are winding up our time at the hot springs, working from here until 11:00, then heading to meet friends for lunch, back to the mountain house to wrap up our day. I took a call from a client; someone broke into his office; we will help indemnify him for his loss.

We have a company call at 11:00 to go over some procedural things, introduce some new team members. We have had some very positive changes happening, and I sense this is just the beginning of a wild ride of new experiences and opportunities.

We met in Dave and Nicole's room yesterday for breakfast; we had bacon and homemade doughnuts. I shared with Lee that this was the breakfast served in heaven. We then put on our robes and made our way to the hot springs. We chose to sit in the stream; the water temperature was almost unbearable. My wife jumped in the cool part of the stream; I stayed on the warm side.

We visited a ghost town; I didn't see a ghost; I felt jipped. Ok, here is something interesting; Grammarly just shared that I am using offensive language. It stated the word jipped is politically harsh, but I don't know why; let me Goog it. The root word is "gyp," and it means to cheat or swindle someone; I felt cheated and tricked yesterday when I did not see a ghost at the ghost town, so I'm going to keep my word and apologize if it hurts your feelings.

On the way home, we stopped at a fish hatchery with massive concrete containers of millions of trout that will soon be released into the waterways of Colorado. Our friend found it the other day; it was very calm and exciting; I had no idea things like that existed. Then, we headed back and took a quick nap before heading to dinner at 5:20. I had the lobster mac and cheese; my wife had the short ribs. Finally, we returned to hang out in our operations room before going to bed at about 9:00.

We will be in CO until Wednesday and then fly home for a baby shower. After that, we return for 20 days and then head east for family time. I have a busy week, but I love being active. What is busy anyway? I think busy is the effortless movement from one task to another. When engaged, it is time to recognize times to get up and move, stretch your legs, as my OURA ring likes to remind me. The mind needs to relax to keep sharp.

The weather here has been outstanding; we had 70 degree days all weekend; it looks nice this morning; it will be a lovely drive home; the beauty of Colorado is breathtaking, and driving 285 is one of the best roads in the state full of 14'ers and valleys below. While I'm making soup, my wife is in our bed working. We have our coffee and are hydrating; I feel exceptional after a fun weekend of laughter and debauchery.

I have to run; I need to pack, get in the shower, have breakfast, then run a couple of meetings before heading to lunch and then home. I hope you had a great weekend; I hope you laughed until your stomach hurt, and I hope your week is filled with happiness, joy, and accomplishment. Don't let anyone tell you that you can't. You can do anything you wish. Life is meant to be an endless journey of the possible, and anything is possible.
