"I, with a deeper instinct, choose a man who compels my strength, who makes enormous demands on me, who does not doubt my courage or my toughness, who does not believe me naïve or innocent, who dares to treat me like a woman."

 — Anaïs Nin

Good morning, good afternoon, good evening, or whenever you find these words of curiosity and tremendous interest in this exciting time of human history. It is my wife's birthday; she does not like it when I share her age, so I'll say she is one year older than last year, and she gets more beautiful each year.

A banner day yesterday; we headed to the office, worked until 3:30, and then headed to get our Tetanus shot for the upcoming baby. Unfortunately, I have not had a tetanus shot for a few years; I'm not protected from those damn rusty nails. So we came home, continued to work, and then met our neighbors at Mr. Tequila for Alex's birthday.

We got home and watched a little television before heading to bed; we did not watch the NCAA championship. Instead, we watched some silly show and got to bed early. Today we will work until 4:30, head to the airport, and hopefully, head back to our home in the mountains. As of now, our flight is still set to head west, young man.

Well, we got fatter. According to my Ground news app, obesity increased during the pandemic. No shock, I ate more, drank more, and I'm guessing you did too, but let's agree, it's over, and we need to get back to our pre-pandemic habits? It was a fun ride; we had a great time being gluttons, but bye-bye excess, hello fitness, and famine.

We land tonight around 8:00; our black car will pick us up and deliver us home about bedtime. The clock will show at 10:00, but our bodies and minds know it is midnight; I blocked tomorrow morning to get extra sleep before plugging and chugging. Our pup is at our sitter's house; PVHT will arrive tomorrow morning.

We will spend the next 16 days in Colorado and then drive back with our pup to witness the birth of Baby Bo Anson. Bo's cousin Hank was born two weeks ago; I'm writing a children's book called Hank and Bo go to the moon. It is an interactive book with pictures, and I'll deliver each book with items featured in the book. As the book is read, the kids can hold the item featured on the page. I'll do one for all our grandkids.

My friend Keith just sent me a photo. It's him holding a large mountain lion he killed last night. He and his wife recently bought some land about 3 hours from our house; he is planning on building a home there; I suspect we will be spending time there in the future. He is now clearing the land of beasts and demons for our safety.

My wife and daughter are working at the office; I'm going to work from home; I have a lot on my plate, but my pate will be clean by the time we leave for the airport, and I'll enjoy a nice meal before departure. Yesterday I spoke to my scientist friend about getting a profile for my mountain water. I will take a sample to my local health department and get the minerals and replicate the profile. I talked to a canner last night and am moving my craft water idea closer to reality. If you can dream it, you can do it.

I must run; sorry for the short soup, sometimes I have more time, but today I need to get rolling and strolling. I trust your life is magical; I hope you, too, enjoy every waking moment and can navigate the waves of life. It's not always smooth, but the waves build character, and so when you find yourself in a storm, hold on and know it's making you challenging; the world has enough sissies; we need more hardened men.

"I, with a deeper instinct, choose a man who compels my strength, who makes enormous demands on me, who does not doubt my courage or my toughness, who does not believe me naïve or innocent, who dares to treat me like a woman."
