Teaching Kids Adult Stuff, Don't Say Gay, The Last FREE Generation

Good morning, It's 4:27 a.m. here, six degrees outside, a lovely quiet morning to start my day. I got up at 4:00 found that my pup had gotten sick last night, so I cleaned up a couple of messes before making coffee and my morning water. So, the coffee is made, my Yeti water bottle filled, and it's time to make some morning word soup.
My class started at 6:00 a.m. I sat until 3:15 p.m. watching a man from Macheuttes discuss insurance agency management, and I learned a few things. At 52, I believe we can always learn new things. After class, I cleaned up my email and hung out with my wife and Bay. Unfortunately, our trip down the hill to meet my friend Matt was canceled due to the snow; we will reset for today.
I caught up on social media and came across a clip of a woman running a camp in Kentucky for kids, and she teaches them how to masturbate. I'm not making this up; here's the clip:

But, instead, there seems to be an attack on the children of our country.
Florida just passed a bill that will not allow teachers to talk about gender diversity from Kindergarten to the third grade. Many people call this the "don't say gay" bill, but the bill attempts to protect parents and their kids from information that might not be appropriate for children. It is alarming what some teachers think ok to include in their curriculum. If I were a parent with young kids, I would be very interested in what my kids were taught.
Our friend Nate showed up in the afternoon; he moved some property here for future visits. Then, he left to ski the next day; Bay and I played Gin, my wife cooked a great meal, and we watched some silly television. I was in bed by 8:30, another great night of sleep and some great snuggles with my wife. I'll join the class again at 6:00 a.m., and I'm ready to learn more tools and tips to run our agency better.
We've been looking to add to our growing team, and yesterday we added a Michigan Rock Star to our team. "Barb" had been with her current company for 17 years but decided she might want to join our "fun culture after seeing our website." So first, we did our "who are you" virtual meeting, then operations did their "what do you know" virtual conference, we tested her, and her results came back A+. I am so happy to be growing a team of curious, hard-working, goal-minded people. So onward and upward, here we grow again!
When adding a new teammate, we are now assigning three mentors. One owner, one person that does the same position and is the most recent hire in the position, and another management team member to help make sure they are enjoying our culture, and we are there to make sure they thrive in their new role.
I received our February financials and am very impressed with our production growth, we are killing our production from 2021, and I think this might be our best year ever. I review our income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement. Well, back to class I go; sorry for the short soup. When I get up before 5:00 a.m., I'm not as prolific as when I get up at my usual time. I appreciate your returning to read my work; it's just my thoughts, ideas, and wonderment about our world. I trust you are well, I am, and you'll not meet anyone happier than this kid who grew up in the cornfields of Indiana and now resides on top of a mountain with the most beautiful woman in the world. I'll see you tomorrow!
