Short Clever Soup
“I am so clever that sometimes I don’t understand a single word of what I am saying.”

Good morning; we’re hosting a few folks this weekend. Calry, Josie, and Bay arrived last night to join us for a Red Rocks Relationship building event. After that, we headed to Brooks Place Tavern and had dinner before coming home and playing euchre. About 1 a.m. Nate and Pastor Paul arrived; our house is almost complete; it’s Avett Brothers Weekend.
We have appointments all morning, planning on knocking off early to go for a nice hike this afternoon. After that, we’re going back to Red Rocks to meet some friends and welcome them to our fair state. After that, we will return home and dine and drink tonight, another big hike tomorrow before the show. Have I told you lately I love my life? My friend, Grammarly’s A.I., is growing more robust; it’s a more spoken word editor, and I like it.
Parker Van Halen loves the company; she now greets everyone she knows by peeing. What a fantastic show of affection. Get a dog, they said! So when we know company are arriving; we have a policy they stay up top of the stairs, PVHT greets them and then pees in excitement, and then we all come into the house.
I’ve got my thought leaders to call in a few moments; my house is full of people. I didn’t think I would be able to eke out any soup, but here you go. It’s not much, just a check-in today, nothing earth-shattering that would trigger another human. So no societal commentary today, just a minor update, I’m here, I’m happy, and I hope you are as well.
