“Many atrocities have been done in the name of the greater good.”
— Sarah J. Maas

Monday morning, how are you?  You look fantastic; Sunday was here yesterday and said to tell you “hello!”  Please grab a cup of Death Wish Coffee and sit a spell; I’ve got some morning soup I need to make; you can rub PVHT’s belly.

We headed back from Richmond around eleven yesterday; we got home, hung out with my cousin for a bit before heading to the Dugout for lunch.  We met our friends Josh and Paula there, watched some football and then headed home.

My OURA ring arrived.  I used it for the first time yesterday.  It measures many things, readiness, sleep, activity, and gives you keys to improving.  For example, my readiness score for today was 77, which is good. In addition, my resting heart rate is 73, my body temperature is optimal, and my recovery index is good.

I got eleven hours of sleep last night, I usually get a great night’s sleep on Sunday, early to bed, but my efficiency was 79%. So I need to pay attention to my restfulness.  It seems I move around a bit when sleeping; the ring data port gives tips on how to get more effective sleep.

The ring includes meditation programming, breathwork, sleep help, and programming to help make you more aware of becoming your best self.  I’ll wear this for a month and see what kind of data I can collect about myself and how I might improve my being.

I’ve blocked time to work on my Ted Talk today, two hours of work, research, and refinement of my message.  I sent a colorful title to the head of our group, thinking I would get some kickback.  The kickback came last week; he finally caught my title and asked that I soften my approach.  I laughed; “I kept thinking you would call me?”  I promised to massage my title and also pledged to bring a message of harmony.

I’ll be speaking at Leadership Development Day 2022 on February 3rd.   You can attend live in Denver or get a virtual ticket to see all speakers for $100.00 a ticket.  To learn more, visit here:

If you are looking for an event to spur your team to greatness, this is it.  This talk is my second time sharing a leadership lesson; last year, I spoke about living in the present; this year, I’ll tackle the perception and reality of various skin tones present in modern-day society.  To view last years program, visit here:

This year, we focus on culture, women, and programming from some young wise humans.  If you consider yourself a leader, tune in.  If you are looking for personal growth, please buy a ticket.  Consider joining us for a magical day of learning and personal development if you are breathing.  I have a discount code for my family, clients, and friends.  Send me a message, and I’ll give you the code.  Do not miss this opportunity to learn from others who have found success in various veins of life.

I saw a clip, and instead of showing the actual clip due to maybe trigging some, I thought I would share the message contained in the clip. So without further ado, here is some advice.

“We need you to stay in your home for two weeks; it’s for the greater good.”

“We need you to close your business; it’s for the greater good.”

“We need you to say home a little longer than two weeks; it’s for the greater good.”

“We need you to wear this on your face; it’s for the greater good.” We are going to ask that you now wear two of these on your face; it’s for the greater good.”

“We ask that you inject this into your body; it’s for the greater good.”

“We need you to spend the holidays alone; it’s for the greater good.”

“You must inject this into your body if you want to feed your family; it’s for the greater good.”

“We need you to stop eating that; it’s not good for the environment; it’s for the greater good.”

“We need you to stop driving your car and flying; it’s for the greater good.”

“We need you to stop leaving your home so often; it’s for the greater good.”

“We need you to stop saying that; it’s hurting some people’s feelings; it’s for the greater good.”

“We need you to stop having children; it’s not good for the planet; it’s for the greater good.”

“We need you to stop talking about your faith; it’s offending people; it’s for the greater good.”

“We need to separate you from your children because you are not complying; it’s for the greater good.”

“We need to hold you in a facility for a little while for not cooperating; it’s for the greater good.”

“All of this is for the greater good.”

Well, there you have it, 2020 and 2021 in a nutshell.  If someone seeks to control you, they will advance 2 inches until you say “stop!” After that, they will wait a predetermined amount of time and then move another 2 inches.  After a time, you will be moved miles from where you started.  Are you awake or just moving back?  How far are you willing to move back for the greater good?  When will you stop moving and stand up for yourself, your family, and all those who fought and died for your freedoms?  Now is the time to stop moving and stand for the principles that make our country the greatest in the world.

“Many atrocities have been done in the name of the greater good.”
