MLK, Broth Only, Brain Fog, Home Made Pup Cups

Good morning, happy Monday, seventeen days into the new year; how are you faring? My wife got up with body aches yesterday; we canceled our plans and just tried to feel better. So I think we will take it easy today; we have a call at noon, the rest of the day is open to rest and recoup. I feel good but suspect whatever she has I'll be enjoying soon.

Our You Work project is moving along; I had all the workstations cleaned out, the office is ready, and I think we have one more little office to prepare before launch. I have a great young lady I can call and get almost any project done. I let her tell me what I owe her, she's fair, and I appreciate her hard work.   

I looked at the news, not much to report; the DOJ possibly will indict Trump, the Cowboys lost, and inflation is raging. So very little information these days about COVID. Did it magically go away? How many people do you know that are vaxed, boosted, and have caught the VID? Is it possible the vaccine made the outbreak worse?   

There is a significant snowstorm hitting the northeast. They say, major; it's 12 inches, we get 12 inches multiple times in CO.  Does the media sometimes gin up stories during slow news times? The amount of fear they try to instill is nauseating. We live in the most incredible time in human history, but that's not news.  

I should point out it is Martin Luther King day. A time to highlight his work to bring people together and judge folks based on the content of their character over the color of their skin. I think this message is lost on some these days. I don't think Dr. King would appreciate dolling out medicine based on skin color.

Voting rights seem to be a big deal; some people think it is abhorrent to ask for someone to show an I.D. to vote, but when I fly, I have to give my I.D. to board the plane? Why is requiring someone to prove who they are such a big obstacle? Do we not want our elections to have integrity?

I'm not going to lie; my brain is a little slow today; I usually can jam out 1000 words in a few moments; I have a little brain fog today. So the words are slow to come; I'm taking my time, enjoying my Death Wish Coffee made with Liquid Death water and hydrating with some Liquid I.V.  My wife is still in bed, hoping she feels better than yesterday.

I've got some work to do this morning, some preparatory work for my meeting at noon. After that, I will take PVHT for a walkabout ten and then return to take it easy this afternoon. I'm fortunate and blessed to have the schedule I have. I just got a notification from my RING app that some motion was at my side in CO. I checked, nothing there, sometimes I get to see Bear and Fox, but I think the animals are hibernating?

Oh goodness, my news app just sent me an update. COVID cases up, "tough" weeks ahead. Over 800,00 new cases over a seven-day average. Is this a disease of the unvaccinated, or is the vaccinated now part of the problem? Is it possible for my wife and me to have COVID for the tenth time? We will have to learn to live with this disease that possibly escaped from a lab in another country as a society.

Yesterday I got a video from a friend; it was his dog's birthday, they bought Buddy some ice cream. I shared that our spoiled pup gets homemade pup cups. My wife takes Greek Yogurt, adds an old banana, drizzles a little honey on the top, and then freezes them in plastic cups. After PVHT eats her chicken (rotisserie only), she get's dessert.

I will remind you that life ebbs and flows, and right now, we are ebbing. Therefore, it is essential to enjoy the flow, pay attention, and learn from the ebb. Without the ebb, there is no flow, and without the flow, the ebb does not exist. My wife is up; I can hear her coughing, another day of playing nurse, getting her what she needs. Water, Advil, ivermectin, we are throwing the kitchen sink at this bug.

I get my soup from my life experience, and when one spends all day on the couch, there is very little to share. I fear tomorrow I'll be flat again, but maybe I'll have some meat to share by Wednesday. So, for now, it's just broth; I apologize for my lack of nourishment; I feel it necessary to uphold my side of our agreement. So I'll make soup for you, and you can consume it if you like and if you don't like it, well apologies, I'm doing my best.
