Living Right F@cking Now

You did it, I did it, another productive week in the books! So how did you fare? First, I'm going to tell you I had one of the most productive weeks I've had in many years; chaos is not your enemy. I lived 52 years thinking order was my jam, only to find out chaos brought out the best in me.

So, I have mentioned my friend Matt before, long story, but he got a bad case of cancer, they did not expect him to make it. But, he developed an idea about living Right Fucking Now (RFN), and I'm happy to say he is still kicking and is impacting others' lives.  

I'm getting my first tattoo on my right wrist in honor of my friend. It is a tattoo with purpose; I get to share the story of RFN anytime some asks. The idea behind RFN is to live life to its fullest, never miss an opportunity to do something EPIC, live life to its fullest.

I had my men's group meeting yesterday; everyone is doing well; we are reviewing Jordan Peterson's Twelve Rules for Life, Rule one, Don't Be a Pussy is a good reminder these days. Men are men, and women are women, and it's time we acted accordingly. As a man, you are entrusted with protecting your family; your role is to provide for others and be strong in the face of chaos. Unfortunately, we live in a world where the identity of a man has been lost. And a few of us are attempting to reclaim the God-given identity thrust upon us.

Ok, the first rule is not Don't Be a Pussy; it's to throw your shoulders back and live upright, doing all the good you can do. Which I interpreted as "Don't be a pussy." If you are a man, I encourage you to read Jordan's book, hell read all of his work, and watch his YouTube videos; you'll be a better man.

I had a couple more meetings before Bay, my wife, and I headed down the hill. Unfortunately, I had to cancel lunch with my friend Brad; my wife had an appointment, she needed me; I rescheduled Brad for Monday; I'm looking forward to catching up. We headed to my doctor's office to get my T shot, then went to Kona Grill to pick up a credit card we left before heading to Mexico. We had not eaten lunch, so we all got some sushi and a glass of white wine.

We stopped to get some groceries before heading home. I asked Bay to play Billy Joel's Songs from the Attic as we headed home. It's a top-five album; if you are looking for some good music this Saturday, I recommend this as a selection. Finally, we got home; I put one of Billy's shows on Quello. 

I got interested in seeing Billy live; I caught him with my first wife, sister, and husband in Cleveland years ago, to date one of the best shows I had attended. It turns out Billy is in Vegas next Saturday, so I did a little digging, and this morning, we will get tickets, a hotel, and a flight to see the Piano Man. About 7:00, a new friend arrived, an Indiana young lady with her dog Nico; Parker is in heaven. So we chatted, I went to bed with my wife, and Bay and her friend got in the hot tub, and it seemed they had hot chocolate. So we are up, the dogs are playing, the girls are sleeping, and I think we will go on a big hike this morning.

My wife just informed me she wants to buy a home in Isla De Mujeres. I was set on Cabo, but she thinks this is a better play; we will Air B and B the house when not there and then use it for family and friends. So we are selling a property we expect to do well; we will use the proceeds to buy our first island home. I'll start my research today, another way of living RFN.

I got a call from a long-time client and friend; he is thinking of Air B and B'ing his home in Indy, it's close to ours, he heard our story, and I connected him with our managers. After our talk, he is thinking of adding a FL home to his arsenal; I don't know why most people don't have multiple homes to earn another stream of revenue? 

I received my laptop charger, for the first time in seven days, I'm using my regular laptop. It's good to have her back, but my backup will serve me well. Josie is up; her pup is also; I think we might have some Mimosa's and breakfast before our hike. Rule 42 of how to live RFN.

I hope these words find you well, I'm living my best life and each day is a reminder to live RFN. We are planning our hike, our lunch, and our evening. So be good, be kind, and live your best life.
