Days Turning Into Lives, DMB Secures RRHOF, A Clean Monday Morning Whiteboard

Good morning. We had another fantastic sunrise. The clouds have disappeared, and clear skies with a brilliant little sun creeping up the sky. I have noticed that the sun moves from south to north during the seasons. She’s on her way back north now and will peak in May, then start going south. I’ve never had this type of relationship with the sun. It’s nice to have one of our celestial bodies as a friend.
We had a wonderful day yesterday; we met our friends for brunch, then picked up some things at Tractor Supply, went to the grocery, and hung out with friends before heading home and flipping on some movies; we relaxed, I cooked, it was a perfect Sunday, we were in bed by 9:00, and I slept like a rock. I woke up at about 5:00 and enjoyed the warm bed for an hour before getting up and letting the pup out; it’s a lovely spring morning, an omen for a great day and week.
I’ve got some appointments this afternoon, but based on the weather, I suspect we will go for a lunchtime hike. The temperatures are rising, and it’s long t-shirt weather, but it could cold snap any day. In Colorado, the key is to use layers. The temperature can change quickly, and that one layer you learn is not enough, the fashion tip of the day.
We work the next two days from home, then head to Alabama to see the Bo Beans and his parents; he’s turning two, so we will have a party and watch Nick hit some dingers. There will be a gaggle of family there; it will be a fun time. Bo’s vocabulary is growing; he’s now in daycare to give his mom a break; he started rough but now enjoys the time with his friends. I think socialization is critical with kids. Our oldest granddaughter has been doing school for a year and, too, seems to thrive.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame announced their inductees last night. Dave Matthews Band made their first try, and Cher, Foreigner, and a fistful of others made it. I don’t know how the process works, but the induction shows are usually pretty good. I’ll watch the DMB portion; we are slated to see them with our friend Abraham and his wife at the end of August. If you have never caught DMB live, put it on your bucket list; it’s a unique experience with engaged fans.
Our deck project will start soon. I’m ready to have rails again. Thankfully, neither I nor our guests have fallen from the deck. Once complete, we will have a deck opening party. We will have an outside living space 8232 feet above sea level, and I think we can throw some pleasant gatherings for friends and clients. I’m excited about our new twelve-by-twelve dining area. Having dinner and looking at the city of Denver will be nice.
It's a clean whiteboard. How will you fill it out this week? What tasks are paramount, and what ones are ok if you don’t finish them? Prioritize and begin working towards an entire whiteboard of accomplishments. Each time you complete a task, no matter how small, take some time and enjoy the moment. A life of accomplishment is rewarding, but only you can deem your success. Work hard, play harder, enjoy each moment, remember our time here is short, each second should be savored, live in the moment, live RFN.
