A Man of Color, Pronoun Salad, Doug Ran Out of Drugs

Thursday, how are you, let me take you weapon, I do not think we will need that as we make soup and drink some coffee. I have a busy day with a meeting this morning, then heading up to meet a long-time client and friend for lunch and then heading back down to hang with my wife this evening, cousin returns tomorrow, I am not sure about our weekend plans.

I had a good day yesterday, I got up and did my thing, writing, email clean up, shower, and then joined an international meeting, I represented the U.S.A., we checked in, all of us are having labor issues. Looking to grow, but cannot find the people, a question we all had was “where are all the people?”  If you know where the people went, please share! We had people from all over the world sharing their update about their personal journey and how business was going on these unique times.

I jumped off that zoom and jumped into another. My friend Ted was leading a group of Russian students in a forum about entrepreneurship. He asked me a few questions about my journey, how we met, and what made our company different from all others. I shared our unique mission statement and that we answer the phone 25/8/366. The message was received well, I had to jump off for our all-staff meeting.

Our team is strong, people are ready to go to battle, we are adding a new fresh face, and looking to add more as we grow. Our leader is doing an excellent job of keeping out team in check, there was some tears as the team praised his work on their behalf. We have some upcoming opportunities that will be a game changer for our team and clients. Artificial intelligence is very cool and if you can harness the power, look out world, here we come.

I do not know if I have shared, but we recently became an international employer. We hired our first out of country employee. She is from the Philippines; she works from midnight her time until 4:00 a.m. and supports our service team. She joined our team a couple of months ago, we will be adding additional staff from her region, great culture, values, if you are looking to add a great member to your team, I can connect you with our Philippine connection!

OSHA discovered the constitution, they put a stay on their overreach to force employers to mandate their silly little rule of making people take a medical procedure. I saw a tweet yesterday that resonated, be sure to wear a warm coat so the person next to you does not get cold. That sums up where we are as a society.

I ran a call yesterday with one of my best friends. His name is “Doug,” Doug ran out of drugs three years ago and got his shit together. He now coaches’ people all over the world to help them get their shit together. If you do not have your shit together, let me introduce you to Doug. Between you and me, I thought we were going to lose Doug. I saw him a few years ago, he was a shell of his former self, but through a miracle he found something bigger than himself and now shares enlightenment with the world. I am a little proud of Doug and I do not mind holding him up and connecting him with other powerful humans being.

My wife just got up, so did the little lady aka big girl. Parker Van Halen has been a gift; she is a quirky little beast that has added a lot of joy and happiness to our family. One thing about PVHT, she needs a walk in the morning and afternoon and if you forget or get busy, she will let you know it is time to move. We walk the hood, and she likes to smell the smells. When in CO she runs our mountain side and that keeps her busy.

I am having a little fun with my new book, sharing it with others, always signing it, passing out the book and vinyl makes people happy. Oh, I forgot to share I bought an Oura. What is an Oura? It is a ring that measures your heart rate, sleep patterns, it is like the health monitor on your Apple watch, but it is next level technology. I got my sizing ring yesterday; I think I will buy my wife one as well. Google it if it sounds like something you might want to add to your life. I suspect many will be wearing this new tool in the coming months and years.

Yesterday, Tom shared that I make good and great soup and I think today is a good day. I have an issue that is churning in my mind, but I am not ready to share, I will put it in my mind’s easy bake oven and share when ready. I need to work on an agenda for my morning meeting. Then hit the road, I will be back tonight to hang with my lady, my pup and enjoy another evening. We have one episode of Yellowstone to watch, and we caught up on Dope Sick last night, do not miss these shows, quality programming for humans that like to be entertained.

Today I am going to identify as a man of color, my color is sand. What is your preferred color, I know you like he and him and they, but what is your color, we now live in a society where we are no longer bound in reality? What you feel or identify as is up to you, society can no longer dictate who you are. I am free, praise the Lord, I am free. No longer bound, no more chains holding me. My soul is resting
