"War is peace.
Freedom is slavery.
Ignorance is strength."

Good morning, good afternoon, good evening, just covering my bases folks, I never know when one might stumble upon these words. My OURA ring is yelling at me to move more; sorry, OURA, I hung out with my wife for Christmas; I did take our dog for a walk, ok, I'll move more today!

So how was your day? Did you enjoy spending time with your family? Did you get something cool? I got to spend time with my wife, family, and friends. Our super spreader event was a success! We ate like royalty, and I got a couple of fun gifts. John left his phone; I'm sure he will be making the trek back here to pick it up. Perhaps we will drive it up to him and get lunch; that might be the Christmas thing to do?

So December 26th, let's check out our SMART news app and see what we need to know. Oh no, the most dangerous state for COVID is, wait for it, New York. Their militant lockdowns do not seem to be working; you might want to open it back up, folks? I'll take a time machine back to 2019, and the headline read "New York Leads Nation in Common Cold."

Some sad news out of Pennsylvania, a father and his two sons lost their lives in a house fire started by their Christmas tree and its faulty lights. His wife and the oldest son were sparred, a tragedy—prayers for the King family. A fundraising campaign was started as of this moment; there is 350K of money donated to support those that made it through the fire—a nice dose of humanity to wrap up a tragic story.

We leave tomorrow at 2:20 for Florida. Our work is wrapped up; I will take my book, sit on the beach, and get these white buns almond colored. I will return a man of color and enjoy a couple more weeks of Indiana life before heading back to Colorado. We have had a great time, it's been fun catching up with our family and friends, and our mountain top is calling our name; my cats have been texting, "when are you coming home?" Soon felines, soon.

My pup is exhausted; as I type these words, she is laid out on top of my king's chair, passed out. Her friend and brother Griffy was over yesterday, they play nonstop, and it takes her a day to recover. Soon my wife will get up and make her breakfast, chicken with some Purina. Have I shared she is spoiled?

I think today we will relax; I could see us making a COSTCO run; I'm out of Liquid Death still water, I have a couple of cases of sparkling, but I need "still" for my coffee and hydration. I'm not kidding when I say that Liquid Death still water is the best water sans our mountain house; find it on Amazon today!

Let's return to the news, shall we? According to the Atlantic, the country is facing a soft lockdown. However, the supreme leader of New York, Bill de Blasio, has said he is not shutting down. Still, Broadway canceled shows, restaurants closed their kitchens, and his successor Eric Adams nixed his inauguration gala. I guess it's better to be safe than sorry, but when do we accept that the cold is just that, a cold? I have a fear factor of negative sixteen regarding COVID, but I will respect others' concerns. You do you, and I'll do me.

I've enjoyed this season of life, but when I return from FL, I'm going to have to get to work. I'm carrying about ten pounds more than I like, not bad, but I know I have to start moving more. I'm better than the man I am; I know how to improve; the key is to move more, eat less, and limit my booze intake. It's a pivot from my current state of affairs. I want to look good for my wife in MX in February.

I set up a new Zoom studio, bought an IPAD holder, and have my IPAD positioned by my easy chair. All my meetings will be held from my favorite spot; I'm not sure why I didn't think of this before; my background is my album wall, I'll run my virtual meetings in a relaxed environment.

Our town lost an icon. Fred was the local owner of the gun shop; he was president of the city council for a few years; he was vaccine-hesitant and ultimately died from COVID. Years ago, Fred and I attended an event where we scored $70K for our town's park system; we had a good day. Godspeed, my friend, thank you for your public service.

I'm drinking my coffee in a cup that has my name on it. It is made from an old baseball bat and was a gift from my son-in-law. I got another coffee cup from my friends. It said "Pot Head" and had a large coffee pot; I think it fits my persona. I also got a shirt stating, "Ain't No Body Going to Tell Me How to Live." It will match my "Don't Tred on Me" bracelet well.

Enough words, I need some action; I'll wrap this up, take a shower, take PVHT on a walk around the hood; it's very nice out; I think I like Global Warming. But, oh no, just read where Desmond TuTu passed. He was 90, a great man who lived a great life and fought for good over evil. We need more Tutu's; maybe we can find a ThreeThree or FourFour?
