On Sunday, here you are again. I believe seven days since our last visit; how have you been? You look good; let me take your parka and have a seat while I make some word soup. It’s Monday morning; I started this soup yesterday and had company, so I’m finishing it today; I hope you don’t mind, so Sunday and Monday are one.

We had a good day yesterday, we met some of our team members for lunch, and some came back to our house where baby Bo and his mom were hanging out. We came home and hung out at Rick and Saundra’s before meeting up with Brandon and Michelle for dinner.

Brandon and “L” stayed the night, they hung out in the carriage house, and we stayed in our main bedroom.

Today we are hosting our kids, my parents, and we will be heading down to see baby Bo. My wife just got up; she’s been playing with the dog and cat, we have a small zoo here, and the animals need their attention. Next are Kibble, chicken, and green beans; our pup is spoiled.

An update: my parents were in Cleveland visiting my sister, so just Alex and Sis came by. Our daughter joined us with Bo; we had sandwiches, pasta salad, and some great slaw from our local bakery. It was an excellent lunch, and we sat outside and caught up on life.

How about this Monkey Pox scare? Are you worried? It’s about time for another disease, a reason to lock us down; this time, I will not comply, I will not listen to the experts, and I might be bloody puss-filled sores, but this time I’m taking my chances.

And we just gave Hyundai a 10-billion-dollar investment. Isn’t it strange that people all over the world get our money, and we have a homeless crisis in our country?  Hey guys, can we focus on ourselves for once? The world is OK; we are the ones with issues.

We got about twelve inches of snow back home. I watched it on our ring camera, we lost power, but our trusty generator kicked on and warmed our home. Many people lost control; I’m glad we invested in a generator. It’s 80 degrees at this home and a hell of a snowscape at our other house; we correctly picked this time; cheers to the sun over snow.

I got word from our Air B and B guy that a bunch of female photographers will be renting our home next month. It’s a nice little sum; who knew our home would be a moneymaker?

As we were talking yesterday, we learned that a pineapple is a sign of swinging. We had no idea; it was Alex who broached the subject; then our daughter chimed in, if you are into the swing game, put pineapple in your front yard and alert the world that you are down to swing town.

The discussion came up when talking about the community in Florida known as the Villages. The ratio of men to women is 5 to 1, one man for every five women. It’s 170,000 retired people playing golf, pickleball, and according to some, a sex fest. Our friends have confirmed that they have never witnessed said acts, another conspiracy theory to add to our list.

You have to be 55 to buy property there, I’m only 52, turning 53 this week, but my wife is of age and could buy something. We have talked about buying a home in a warm climate; maybe the Villages will be our next investment. You can Air B and B there, so it’s not just another home; it’s an investment.

I’m rounding third on my project; I can see home plate, the centerfielder has the ball, and he’s getting ready to throw it home; I think I can make it, but only time will tell. We have a company-wide meeting today where I’ll share some news with our team. It’s an exciting time; dreams do come true.

Well, I think that’s it; I’ll be back tomorrow—a full day of meetings and connections. My right hand is on vacation, so I’ll be pulling double duty this week; I am up for the challenge; I like to keep busy, and I’ll be manning her email with Mo Jo gone. We live in a time where the idea of manning is offensive, and I’m sorry, but there are times in life when both women and men need to find courage, and today is that day.
